We own 3 dogs, 2 border Collies & a Foxie cross

We had problems in the past when we wanted to go on holidays, we either had to leave the dogs at a boarding kennel , or take a chance on booking a dog friendly holiday & hope that the accommodation was of a good standard, properly fenced, near dog beaches etc. Some of the places we took the dogs away with us to were top class & some left a lot to be desired.

We decided because we work very hard all year, we did not want to participate  in an annual “holiday  lottery”, rather we would buy a place of our own & let it out to other people when we were not using it to help with the mortgage payments.

We bought our first Cottage in Tuross Head, NSW

furnished it to a high standard & included all the things we have at home. We took some advise off one of the most popular pet website operators, and he recommended that we take many measures, such as providing baskets, trampoline beds, spare emergency dog food etc, (thanks Gerry for all the help).  

Confident that we were now offering superior surroundings & pet friendly comfort, we started a small website. The concept was clearly popular, as by the end of the second year, we were having trouble getting a weekend away at our own place. The Guest book was eagerly read on each visit & by the numbers of repeat clients, we must have been doing something right

The Cottage next door came up for sale and despite it being a “renovators delight”, we took the plunge & bought it, creating it in a mirror image of the 1^st one. Again, this cottage has proved very popular. 

Our customers started to ask us if we had properties in other parts of the country & if so, could we guarantee that they would be up to the standard of our originals. (this started as a place for us to relax, & was starting to get out of hand now!!).

We originally set up this site to offer management of other peoples properties.  Tracey went to University & became a Licensed Real Estate Agent to achieve this.  However we found that people are so passionate about their properties and theh services they offer that they didn't want to relinquish the control they had.  So we decided on a change of direction.

We know offer space on our website for like minded people to advertise their property, therefore offering a wider choice for people looking for that ultimate holiday experience with their pet.
